Well, half of 2103 has come and gone already and it's hard to believe.  We're proud to have worked on several exciting new aquatics projects that opened (or re-opened) this year.  Take a look at a couple:

THE BEACH WATERPARK, MASON, OHIO

New Sprayground

This existing park had been closed for a while until being purchased and given new life.  WET assisted with redesign of the wave pool in order to shallow it up and replace the wave generating equipment with a new system.  We also provided engineering for a new sprayground (see photo), modification of two activity pools, and re-routing of an existing slide.

Aquatic Pools and Construction of Erie, PA was the aquatics contractor.  Weather was a bit of a challenge this past winter, as the photo below illustrates.  Thanks for the photos, Tom...sorry we missed the fun!

Don't worry, that snow will turn into water by May!

PALMETTO AT OAKLEAF APARTMENTS, JACKSONVILLE, FL

It seems like the economy is finally picking back up, especially here in Florida.  We are working on several new commercial swimming pool projects for apartments and residential developments.  Here are a couple photos of a beautiful pool for a new apartment complex.  The landscape/hardscape design was provided by Ervin, Lovett, Miller of Jacksonville, who do a phenomenal job as the photos will attest to:

We are working on more exciting projects this summer, so stay tuned!

Welcome!

This is our first post!  So what's up with WET lately?  One of our projects was recently featured in the official magazine of the World Waterpark Association:  the Cool Zoo at the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans!

WET handled design of the hydraulics and water treatment systems for the splash park as well as local health department permitting.
